Produced from 54% Cabernet Sauvignon 43% Merlot 3% Petit Verdot, this wine displays and dark ruby garnet colour, on the nose there is cassis and cherries with some notes of leather, in the mouth the wine is medium bodied, full of blackberry fruit with notes of coffee. The finish is elegant and quite long.
Established in the 6th century, the Baronnie du Breuil is the oldest vineyard in the Médoc wine region. Purchased by the Vialard family in 1985, Château du Breuil vineyard benefits from an outstanding location situated adjacent to Chateau Cissac. It prospers in a valley dominated by the Château Lafite on one side and by Château Cos d’Estournel on the other.
